Google now has an easy way to retrieve mail and contacts from old or current accounts that you might have - this way you have everything stored under one account. Initially the feature was only available to new users, but now anyone that has gmail, premier, or educational versions can now import their mail. The caveat is that the account has to be accessible via pop3. Turn on the feature at Settings > Accounts & Import and select the import mail and contacts button (if you are on standard google apps instead of premier or educational, the Accounts & Import tab will only say Accounts and this feature will not be available). Google claims that it will import all your mail and contacts within 24-48 hours. |
